Beth is the primary coach for Age 2 and Orca 1 and runs the OrcaKids Swim School.
Beth has been around the Orcas for over eighteen years, first as a competitor, then as a swimming instructor, and now as the head of our developmental programs. She also competed for Century High School for three years.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Olaf College in the spring of 2006 with a degree in English. Shortly after her graduation, she was back on deck coaching. Beth believes that 8 & under swimmers are vitally important to any team as the future of the sport. She enjoys working with the youngest swimmers on the team and teaching them the proper technique as well as a love of swimming!
Beth is primarily involved with our developmental swimmers ranging in age from 3 to 10. Her success with the youth of the program contributed to the Orcas' Staff being recognized as the Age Group Staff of the Year for 2005-2006. She is also the supervisor of the highly successful OrcaKids Swim School, which teaches 700 to 900 lessons each year.
